The 3-way was consummated behind a dumpster in the Gilbert, AZ branch. |
Metalheads receive: Buster Posey, David Wright
Chin Music receives: Joey Votto, Clayton Kershaw, Matt Wieters
Fenway Flats receive: Evan Longoria, Jay Bruce, Billy Butler, Max Scherzer
When reached for comment, Metal heads ownership confirmed the trade saying, "this is so fucking awesome. I don't think I've ever done a 3-way. This couldn't have happened without me, because I'm awesome and a 2-time champ. Pass the bowl." One owner commented on the pure baseball nature of the trade saying, "it helps all three teams and there were no dumb ass picks involved to muck it up. That is why this trade got done." Team Thunderlips Co-Owner, Accountant, Head Athletic Trainer, Part-time Mayor of Phoenix, and Chief of Custodial Services simply commented, "People moving talent."
This trade is a sure sign that the hot stove is heating up heading into the winter meetings this weekend.
Chin Music-winner.
ReplyDeleteEvery team got better, but Chin Music certainly looks good keeper-wise by turning a few boarder line keepers and question marks into reliable elite talent... And my draft picks just lost some value without the leftover talent from Grant's roster hitting free agency.
ReplyDeleteI think we can all agree Grant got the best end of this trade. But that's what happens when you have 10 keepers, you upgrade. Tim moving Votto and me moving Kershaw was the toughest part. But in the end, everyone accomplished what they wanted.
ReplyDeleteGrant now has Joey/Ryan elite level keepers, I solved my overcrowded RF situation while gaining top tier talents at weak positions, and Tim got a whole lot younger and filled out his keepers.
All I will say is, if Jay Bruce becomes CF eligible, I will be PISSED off!
