QUINCY, MA -- The Sluggers have traded future Sluggers legend Starlin Castro to the Melrose Warriors for a bouquet of draft picks. Castro now joins Giancarlo Stanton and Carlos Gonzalez as three of the least available players in the league.
The Deal:
Warriors receive: Starlin Castro, Grant #9 and Leo #9
Sluggers receive: Veno #2 and Lisi #5
"Castro now joins Giancarlo Stanton and Carlos Gonzalez as three of the least available players in the league." Spot on! Lisi needs to stop taking the Veno approach and actually be open to trading his players. Otherwise, many non-championship seasons are in his future.
