HOF

Trevor Hoffman was awesome.

  1. Closers have no business being in the HOF. They pitch 70 inns a year. If they were any good they would be starters

  2. Hoffman has about as much business being in the HOF as Jim Rice, Andre Dawson, Rich Gossage, Bruce Sutter, and Tony Perez.

Mo Rivera, though.....he's a HOF. Nasty in the regular season, nasty in the postseason. Hoffman didn't exactly bring his A-game when the playoffs rolled around.

  3. 70 IP? You give these guys too much credit, Tim.

He pitched 13 postseason innings, John. 13. You don't think Robbie Alomar is a HOFer so....
