DRAFT DAY
We have officially selected Saturday, March 15 as Draft Day 2014. Book your travel plans with confidence! Let's plan on drafting at 3 pm, with the knowledge that we might have to adjust time slightly as the date approaches. Charlie will be our gracious host. Address details will follow in email form.
With a Sat 3/15 Draft Day, this means that the Keeper Deadline will be Saturday, March 8th at 11:59 PM.
DIVISION SELECTION
Our third annual Division Selection Draft was conducted online this morning. Owners of last season's division winners selected their new divisions mates in school yard fashion until all of the teams were selected. The top pick was Team Titus and the last man standing was Metalheads, a fate that team ownership is likely accustomed to at this point in his life. Creative names will be forthcoming. Divisions are as follows:
Tim Division

John Division
1. Yellow Stars

3. Boston Pilgrims

Two quick observations:
ReplyDelete1) The "Tim" division is a cake walk. How is it that they got both new teams, Charlie and Barnstomers?!?!?!??! Sorry Mike Lewis but your offensive keepers are terrible. While the "John" division has John himself (former champ), Ryan (who is the best regular season champion), Grant (who everyone deeply respects/former champ) and me (the greatest, most tallest, most handsomest champion of all time)!
2) Owners are once again intimidated by Leo…..making him the greatest mid-carder ever.
I am the Owen Hart of this league... I hope they don't forget to secure my harness this season!
