ReplyDelete"I take young players and turn them into superstars" It is laughable how much of a blowhard you are. Clay Kershaw, wow never saw that coming. Its not like Matt Kemp took Jose Bautista's career path. What you do is take a young player that 99% of the experts tout 1-2 years too early and suffer through multiple mediocre years before getting a breakout year and then dealing said player because now he's "old". What a complete fraud.
DeleteChampionships don't lie, Tim. I'm sure you didn't see Kershaw becoming the stud he is, since you traded him to me. At that time, he was looking like Scott Kazmir, but the savvy owner that I am, jumped at the chance to acquire him. Kemp was a nobody when I acquired him, he was sporting a .799 OPS. And you seem to be mistaken, I am the expert, no advice needed. I will admit though, I'm not a big fan of players over the age of 32, but hey, then again, I'm not a retirement home like Tom's team.
ReplyDeleteActually most saw him becoming what he is today. I traded him to you because I always am in "win now" mode. I have no interest in winning 2013 before 2012 even starts.
