2016 Draft Lotto

WAKEFIELD, MA -- The Commissioner took a very relaxing day off from his day job and decided it was time to set the draft order for the 2016 Draft.  For the second straight year, the draft lottery was held using the latest in technological advances as the commissioners' office spared no expense.  This technology, called "YouTube" brings the Commish straight into your living room through the magic of the world wide web.  Enjoy!

Multiple Scorgasms, Multiple trades

SALEM, NH --  The Scorgasms franchise kick the Hot Stove season into high gear with a flurry of activity.  The first 3-way of the offseason was completed when CF Christian Yelich was dealt to defending champions the Wildcard in exchange for SP Jon Lester.  Team ownership then took the V-card off of new ownership, spinning Lester and LF Justin Upton to Abusement Park in exchange for SP Noah Syndergaard and picks.  Trade details are below.  

In other news, Y! site is up early this year.  This is going to make Spring Training seem hopelessly long.

Hot Stove: AJ Pollock On The Move

HOLLISTON - The Hot Stove has life!  Will this be the spark that really gets things moving in the offseason?  The DC Dynasty have acquired AJ Pollock and some mid round picks for a 2nd Rounder and some middle round picks.  Not the biggest deal in the world, and Pollock does offer some risk, but it remains to be seen if he is worth a #2.

Trade: Let The Hot Stove Begin!

NORFOLK, MA -- The first trade of the off-season has been consummated and the Hot Stove season is off and running from here.  Chin Music has moved David Price and Miggy Cabrera for Nolan Arenado and some high draft picks.  Chin Music ownership was quoted as saying, "I had no respect for Mr. Price as he is a 'small dog person'.  May cat could kick his dog's ass and that is a serious problem when you are counting on a man with such a small dog to win you 20 games.

New feature is this year will be the transaction log in which all trades will be posted follow the link on the navigation bar to check on the off-season transaction archives.  I hope to populate it going back to the beginning at some point.

EPPING, NH -- Goin' Yard GM was named Manager of the Year this week.  Unfortunately, he's managing the wrong sport, but that didn't stop him from making the Championship game.  Perhaps he was distracted from his full time duties in managing The Yard.  Congrats to Team Titus!
